During Curtis Walter’s years in recruiting he discovered candidates with marketable skill sets were denied job offers because of simple mistakes made in interviews. They had the backgrounds necessary to perform the jobs, yet had trouble impressing upon employers they were the best fit for the positions. Walter built Interview of STATURE to guide job seekers quickly and affordably through a successful interview process.
In 2006, Walter founded one of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area’s fastest-growing search firms, Stature LLC. Since 1999 he enjoyed a successful recruiting career coaching and placing candidates in small to multinational corporations, non-profit organizations and government contractors. Prior to 1999, Walter completed 12 years of professional sales experience, ranking nationally in sales in pharmaceutical, automotive and telecommunication industries.
Walter holds a B.S. in Business Management from West Virginia State University and an M.A. in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC.
Walter has had the privilege of public speaking on the subject of Interview Technique for such prestigious groups as The International Association of Administrative Professionals, Women in Government Relations, The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Golden Key International Honour Society, Society of Human Resource Management, Career Network Ministry and American University’s Kogod School of Business.
Recently, Walter was named the Career Liaison for The Golden Key International Honour Society’s 2,000,000+ member alumni network.
